Last Meeting
Last season United made the trip to the newly named Fitness First Stadium just days before the LDV Final, and battled out a 2-2 draw in front of a crowd of 7082. United took the lead through an unlikely source in defender Tom Cowan. Tom was making his first appearance in a United shirt following a loan spell with Pish. Cowan celebrated his goal by kissing his shirt but the travelling U's just stood there shouting SCUM SCUM SCUM at him! The other U’s player on the score sheet on the night was Villa loanee Danny Jackman.
