| What is the ground like? | ||||||||||||
| As soon as you step into the stadium, it is what it says, The Theatre of Dreams. The largest or one of the largest grounds in England is an understatement really, with so many of Old Trafford's features. Lets start at the Museum part of the ground. This area offers sections like a Hall of Fame, Trophy Room, Interactive Zone, Virtual Reality Tour Around The Stadium, See the Official Website and a commentary box where you can do some commentary on some famous United moments. Other areas are the Red Cafe, The Mega store and lots of other places. The ground is high and spectacular and is probably one of the great landmarks of Manchester, and maybe even the country. | ||||||||||||
| What is it like for away fans? | ||||||||||||
| Away fans will be situated in the corner of the ground. They are in part of the South and East Stand then. A word of warning for tickets though. I would advise you to buy tickets before you get there. As they are very hard to get hold of if you wait until the day of the match. Another warning is that young children (about 7 to 10) may not be able to see the game due to fans standing up and the way the seats are layered out. If this is the situation, there are a few big screens and loads of little ones at the back in the boxes, these are easily viewable from seats. | ||||||||||||
| Where is their for away fans to drink? | ||||||||||||
| There are a few pubs around the ground. The nearest is actually in it. But away fans are allowed to drink in two pubs which I know of, The Bridge At Sale and a bowling alley complex on the White City Retail Park. The bowling alley complex includes a bar in its building, but you may get fined for parking there. | ||||||||||||
| How to get their and where to park? | ||||||||||||
| Unfortunately Mike was unable to give out this information, but a online map can be found at Street Map. | ||||||||||||
| Where is the nearest train station? | ||||||||||||
| Old Trafford has its own train station next to the ground. This is served by Manchester Piccadilly. |
