Earlier, Midland confirmed that ex-BAR Honda driver and previous Jordan race driver Takuma Sato has been offered a race drive for 2006. Takuma however has yet to agree terms with the team and has not taken up their offer. This season's Jordan drivers Narain Karthikeyan and "Rookie of the Year" Tiago Monteiro are still in the hunt for the second seat at the team.
