Jim: Another Good Performance
By Aston
October 4 2008
Town manager Jim Magilton was disappointed with Town's loss to Charlton earlier today but was impressed with the performance his side put in at The Valley.

Jim: "After the slow start we knew Charlton were going to come on to us.

"I will have to look at the free kick because I don't think the keeper should be beaten from there at his far post.

"Then we got a foothold in the game and passed the ball. We put then under the pressure and ended up scoring a good goal.

"At half-time I felt if could just increase our quality and our composure then we could go and win it but that wasn't the case.

"It was a poor second goal to give away. A Premier League defender beaten on the wrong side and it came off him for an own goal.

"We showed a real desire to get a result. Okay Charlton were defending the lead but we kept pushing.

"This was a bad result but another decent away performance and we can take heart from that.

"I welcome the break. It is a long Championship season it gives us chance to recharge and regroup."

Another good performance
The actors in Coronation Street put in 'good performances' every week!! Does'nt mean its still not 5hite though!!

Good performances don't win games and we are in a game now where we must!!!
The clock is ticking.
Mr Evans hope you're preparing this for Monday morning, you've got 2 weeks to get in a new gaffer. Mr O'leary would be my choice(btw)
