Town have confirmed striker Alan Lee has joined Crystal Palace for an undisclosed fee after passing a medical and agreeing terms earlier this week.
The 30-year-old striker has been in talks with Neil Warnock's side after Town and Palace agreed a reported £600,000 fee for the striker who has scored 34 goals for Town since joining Town from Cardiff in 2006 for £100,000

Town manager Jim Magilton: "Alan has been a fantastic servant for this Football Club but the time is right to go our separate ways. We wish him every success for the future,"

It's not a mistake yet, and it'll only be a mistake if we don't get a good replacement for him. Let's just see who Jim get's in...

Sounds good, just the person we need to fill Clinton Morrisons boots!! not very quick tho which is a slight worry, we still need another striker. good to see Warnock also getting rid of all the dead wood like slowy and Ifill. Watson is likely to go as well as Freedman the legend!! Hopefully no one puts a big enough bid in for Tom Soares who I fink will have another good season.
