It is being reported that Town striker Danny Haynes was arrested by police earlier today on suspicion of assault.

A spokesperson for Town is reported to have said: "We are aware that one of our players is being questioned by police following an incident earlier today. The club has no further comment to make regarding this matter at this time."

Oh dear!!!
This guy(if it is him) really needs to give his head a shake, he's already been done for drink driving has'nt he??
He is in a privellaged position, earning thousands a week, and a lot of youngsters look up to him, he is 'The blues crew' main man.
I see another Keiron Dyer here, so much promise but will offer little in return!!!!

Danny Haynes is due to return to Ipswich police station on October 2nd after being released on police bail on Friday.

Haynes was arrested on suspicion of assault after an incident at his home in which an unnamed woman is said to have received cuts and bruises but did not require hospital treatment.

Town released a statement on Friday after news of the arrest first broke: “We are aware that one of our players is being questioned by police following an incident earlier today. The club has no further comment to make regarding this matter at this time.”
