Volz On Town Move
By Martin
August 29 2008
Fulham defender Moritz Volz says he has joined Town on-loan as he wants to help Town win promotion to the Premier League this season.
Volz: "Ideally I would have liked to have stayed in the Premier League but a new manager came in at Fulham and my first team chances were limited, I felt I had to make a step and Ipswich came in. The manager told me how ambitious the club is and what the goals are and I'm happy to be here.

"I'm here for a year on loan and signing here permanently is a possibility but we will see at the end of the year.

"For now my focus is on helping Ipswich win promotion to the Premier League."

Is Volz a good signing for Town? Leave your view below.

Re: Volz On Town Move
I’m a Fulham supporter. Volz is a terrific signing and I’m sure you will grow to love him as much as the Fulham Fans. He’s a top role model and I’m sure he will give you 100%. A premiership squad player, but would expect him to be in the starting line up in the Championship. I do hope it works out for him and your team.
