Roberts Bid Accepted
By Aston July 25 2008
Town have accepted a bid from League One side Huddersfield Town for Town midfielder Gary Roberts.
Roberts and Alan Lee were linked with Huddersfield earlier in the week, although the Lee rumours are now dead in the water but Roberts has been given permission to talk to the Terriers after Town accepted a bid for the 24-year-old.

Town manager Jim Magilton: "We have had an offer from Huddersfield for Gary that we have accepted.

"The player is now clear to speak to them and we will see what develops after that."

Re: Roberts Bid Accepted
Another one 'FORCED OUT' by the fans, I feel sorry for him, he was excellent when we first signed him.
Last season he started off poorly and the boo-boys were straight on his back.
It sounds like he has had a very good few games for Town in pre-season and this is how he gets treated. I recall Matt Richards having a good pre-season last year and he was also shipped out before the campaign got underway, and this is why Jim is'nt a good gaffer, he is obviously influenced by the fans. Have a look closer to home Jim, at yer mates,- Miller and Counago they're the ones who need to go!!!!

Re: Roberts Bid Accepted
A good enough player but like you said LEggi, he has been forced out.
