Pim: So Far So Good
By Aston July 18 2008
Town defender Pim Balkestein says his time with Town so far has gone well and he is looking forward to the challenge of English football next season.
The 21-year-old joined Town from Dutch Eredivisie side Heerenveen earlier in the summer and has settled in well to life at Town and he is now looking ahead to next season with Town and the challenges of English football and hopefully wining the Championship with Town. has got the Premier League in his sights as he settles in to his new career in the English game.

Pim: "So far my time at Ipswich has gone really well, I've played in three matches already and we have also been training very hard.

"We are all geared up and ready, and we're looking forward to August and the start of the season. From my point of view, I want to aim for the title. I want to play in the Premier League with Ipswich.

"There is a lot more running involved in England, and it is hard work, but I am quickly getting used to it, also, everyone seems to play 4-4-2, whereas in Holland most teams play 4-3-3, so I am having to get used to playing against two central strikers instead of just one.

"But it is not so different and I don't think it'll be a problem."
