Col U To Play At Town?
By Aston May 15 2008
Colchester United could possibly play one game at Portman Road early next season as they fear their Cuckoo Farm stadium may not be ready in time.
Col U's new ground will be built in time for the new season but it may not have time to have gained its safety certificate before the League Cup first round where Colchester could be drawn away from home with no option to change the venue to the away teams ground so they are lining up a move to Portman Road for one game.

A spokesman for Town confirmed: "Initial talks have been held between the two clubs regarding Colchester United playing a game at Portman Road."
