Sito Let Go
By Martin May 14 2008
Town manager Jim Magilton has revealed that Sito Castro will not be having his contract at Town extended into a 4th season and he will be leaving Portman Road.
The 27-year-old was signed in the summer of 2005 on a free transfer from Spanish side Racing Ferrol and he has gone on to make more then 60 for Town, scoring just the once, he struggled to hold down a place in the Town first team last season making just 14 appearances.

Town manager Jim Magilton: "We have told Sito that we will not be offering him a new deal, he is a fantastic lad and I'd like to thank him for his contribution to this football club and we wish him every success in the future. We will do everything we can to help find him a new club."

Re: Sito Let Go
oooh I think other defenders needed to go before him, always looked good when I saw him and the fans loved him. Its alright Jim getting rid of all these players but he has to start making a move on getting players in, we don't want another load of 'panic buys' in July!!!!

Re: Sito Let Go
Totally agree about not wanting panic buys in July but have to say I'm not at all bothered about Sito going. No-one can hold the manager to ransom for a 'guaranteed' first team place which Sito seemed to want. Interesting that Harding also on the list of places Town are prepared to let go.
