Rhodes Leaves Town
By Aston May 12 2008
Town goalkeeping coach Andy Rhodes has left his position at Town today by ‘mutual consent' after four years at Portman Road.
Rhodes joined Town from Barnsley in 2004 after Malcolm Webster had followed George Burley to Derby County, his son Jordan followed his dad to Suffolk from Barnsley and its being reported that Jordan's lack of involvement towards the end of last season is why Rhodes senior has left the club.

Town manager Jim Magilton would not confirm or deny those reports but he did thank Andy for all his work over the past 4 years, saying: "Andy been a valuable member of my backroom staff over the last two years but I have decided to freshen things up for the start of next season.

"I'd like to thank Andy for his contribution to the club since I've been manager here. We wish him every success for the future."
