Report: Leeds 1-1 Town

Town all but condemned Leeds United to League One football next season after a 1-1 draw with Leeds at Elland Road today.

The home side took the lead after just 12 minutes when Richard Cresswell was able to head in the ball after his initial shot had been parried by Shane Supple.

 

Alan Lee levelled the scored with just two minutes of normal time left to play when got a head to a Gary Roberts corner and guided the ball into the net, that goal was followed by a pitch invasion by Leeds fans resulting in a 30 minute delay before the final moments were played.

 

Leeds: Ankergren, Richardson, Foxe, Rui Marques, Gray (Kandol 88), Blake (Moore 82), Kishishev, Thompson, Lewis (Robbie Elliott 77), Healy, Cresswell.
