Double Disappointment

West Ham midfielder Mark Noble is disappointed to be going back to West Ham after his three month stay at Town.

Noble limped off the pitch with injury during Town’s 2-0 defeat against Sheffield Wednesday earlier today which is not how he wanted to end his time at Portman Road.

Mark: “I was gutted to come off but I've seen the physios and they think that it's not too serious, I was even more gutted that we lost because we had some great chances in the first- half when we should have wrapped the game up.

“It's strange, we played so well at Burnley and we passed the ball well during the first half but the second-half was a different story. A couple of set plays have let us down. The boys have got to get on the training ground and put that right.

“I'd really seriously think about coming back to Ipswich but my priority is to get in to the West Ham first team. If, however, that doesn't happen I'll be on the 'phone to the Gaffer here.

“I've loved my time at Ipswich and been really happy; it's a great place. I'll be sad to go but I'm looking forward to the challenge of pushing for a place in the Hammers' first team.”
