Chris Wilder seems to have found favour with just over two thirds of the people who voted which will hopefully give Wilder the backing he will need for next season.

There is no doubt that Wilder has taken a job that by no means is going to be easy and so it is important that every single Town fan gets behind him.

He did an excellent job in his first season as a manager last year at Alfreton Town only losing 3 games in the 42 games they played after he took over in October. But the Conference will be a totally different ball game especially with a squad that hasn't yet been assembled.

There are only a handful of players that will know each other so there is a lot of team boding that is needed to get some team spirit installed into the team.

Team spirit was one of the most important ingredients to our success in 1997/98, and this can only be achieved with time.

The fans have got to be patient and give Wilder the time that is needed to build the foundations of the club.
