The first in what we hope will become a regular column, this is your chance to have a murmur, a comment or a downright blood curdling scream about anything football related that is annoying you. Best of all, you can get it off your chest and nobody has to know it was you that lost the plot.

Have you ever endured a more tense ending to a season in your life? Just when I thought that things couldn't have been any more frustrating after a season when anything that could go wrong short of alien abduction (and even then I have my suspicions), any hopes of putting a positive face on and looking to 2003 for some well earned solace have been put on hold while the AFL shake our salary cap bushes to see what falls out. Meanwhile the Gunfight at the Optus corral is under way in earnest as the makeup of next years board is prepares to be put to a vote.

So here I sit ..... hanging by my fingertips over the edge of a cliff, I can see draft picks that look a lot like Brendan Goddard and Daniel Wells standing in the background but they are partially blocked by Wayne Jackson and his posse who are deciding whether to pull me up or stand on my fingers! If I dare to look down (don't they say never to look down?, there's a good reason for it), I can see Ian Collins and John Elliott shouldering each other out of the way while alternating placing mattresses under me one minute and vats of boiling oil the next.

I don't quite know where it is all going to end up but all I can say to my beloved Blues is never .... and I mean NEVER put us through this rubbish again. It is beneath you and it is beneath us as supporters of the greatest club on earth.
