Old Dark Navys.net 2002 Carlton Player Of The Year
By Old Dark Navys.net September 9 2002
Congratulations to Corey McKernan on taking out the 2002 Old DarkNavys.net Player of the Year Award. I think you'll all agree that this was a Herculian effort by Corey to not only be our leading goal scorer but also spend plenty of time in the ruck, all the while carrying an injury.

Second place and unlucky considering he missed the last couple of matches was veteran favourite Craig Bradley.

Quite a distance further back was Simon Beaumont and Scott Camporeale while one time leaders Lance Whitnall and Brett Ratten made the top six despite missing a large amount of game time through injury.

Of the players to have debuted in the past two seasons, Jordan Doering was the pick of the crop whilst this years debutants shared the honours fairly evenly.

In what has been a dismal season for the whole team, credit has to go to those players that for the most part gave their all for the Navy Blues.

Well done.
