All round success
The Crusaders started solidly with Paul Weekes (34) and Ed Smith (71) starting well. Weekes eventually went with the score on 90, whilst Smith was the second to go making it 119/2. However Owais Shah (67 off 59) carried on, despite a poor display from Scott Styris who only scored 14. Dalrymple's fireworks followed along with 5 from Eion Morgan, making his debut, as Middlesex crused to a comfortable 263/4.
The Lancashire reply never really got going. Loye was first to go as only Glen Chapple (71) offered resistance. The wickets were shared around. Paul Weeks took 2-18, Mohammad Ali 2-50 and one each for Trego, Styris, Peploe and Dalrymple, with Chapple being run out, as the hosts crashed to 219 all out, giving Middlesex a 44 run victory.
