Gonzalez Out For 4 Months

26 Year old Ignacio Gonzalez will be out for another four months after being diagnosed with Achilles Tendinopathy. The midfielder who is on loan at Newcastle from Valencia has undergone surgery on his Achilles tendon to rectify the problem.
Gonzalez has made just two appearances for Newcastle United, both as a substitute but hasn't played since September, a total of 38minutes of Premier League action.

Unfortunately for the Uruguay International his time on Tyneside may have come to an end as by the time he is fit the season will be in its final throws and he is likely to return to Valencia with very little Premier League experience.
