Paul Rachubka – 7 – Still flapping at crosses but did well with Burgess wrongly timed pass back. Some good saves though

Shaun Barker – 7 – Still getting back to form and did well. However crosses came in from that side to easily

Rob Edwards – 8 – Brilliant save off the line and defended well all game. Class signing and the pairing of him and Evatt will be top draw.

Ian Evatt – 8 – Great save off the line following up from the corner. Unlucky not to score

Mo Camera – 7 – Sped down left well and his overlapping is getting better. However keeps leaving the left back open to attack.

Adam Hammill – 7 –Went down left wing well cutting in on players and showing his skill. However got caught out few times and went off injured

David Fox – 6 – Think both centre mids didn’t do great today however did supply balls well to the forwards.

Claus Jorgensen – 6- Same as David Fox

Gary Taylor Fletcher – 9 – Absolutely brilliant today. Down the right well cutting in few shots on target and should of scored. Won the pen. Played a blinder today.

Steve Kabba – 9 – Better then against Sheff Utd. Should of got a hat trick. Ran at defence well and his strikes were great.

Ben Burgess – 10 – Save the best till last. His best game in a Blackpool Shirt. Goal to cap off an impressive display. Held up ball well and kept it from the defence. Tested keeper well and maybe should of got a hat trick as well.

Subs
David Vaughan – 7 – On for the injured Hammill and really impressed. Might start against Barnsley

Zesh Rehman – 6 – Not really much to say. Consistent and didn’t concede.

Danny Coid – 6 – Kept Southampton from scoring

Referee – Andre Marinerr – 8 – Great refereeing kept game flowing and brandished cards when deserved. Best ref yet.
