So buckle up them belts and sit back as the tangerine express takes you round on the BFC News Round

News Just In
Today newspapers have shown that Paul Dickov is set to sign for Blackpool in the coming hours. Dickov, 35, enjoyed a couple of months on loan with the Seasiders scoring 6 goals in as many matches. Dickov had tempting offers from Toronto FC of the MLS who offered a two year deal and Leicester City also tried to hijack the striker but Dickov is set to sign on a one year Blackpool deal with a coaching contract at the end.

New Signings
Yes Blackpool can attract players to the club as a number of deals have taken place already with Marlon Brommes (free), Alex John Baptise (approx 35k), Joe Martin(undisc), Jermaine Wright(free), Matty Gilks(Player Swap with Wes) and Steve Kabba(Loan) have all joined the ranks at the Seaside. Grayson has also said he is sure he can sign at least two more players by the end of this week one being Paul Dickov.

Injury, Injury, Injury
With the club joint favourites to go down this season Larry was hoping the line to see Phil Horner was not going to be similar as that of Northern Rock but Phil has his job cut out with at least 7 players requiring treatment. Stephen Crainey, Danny Mitchley and GTF who were already recovering from injuries last season were joined by Matty Kay, new signing Joe Martin, who picked up a niggle at Highbury while Danny Coid has an ankle injury and BBB picked up a slight groin strain in Skonto on Tuesday.

Preseason Carnage
Preseason is usually described at the British Summer, greatly anticipated but usually disappointing. And this describes the Seasiders first 3 matches. Blackpool kicked of the preseason with a win, 2-1 against Fleetwood town with Macca and Burgess getting on the score sheet. Despite the win it was a hugely disappointing game one that should of ended in a bigger score line. Larry handed the debuts out as well with all except Kabba on the pitch as well as 5 trailists where one could have been mistaken for Jesus. Brommes impressed but the other will have a lot to do to impress with the trailist having an awful 45 minutes. Blackpool the head on the usual preseason tour of Latvia, where Blackpool drew 1-1 with FK Jurmala where a unknown trailist bagged the goal for Pool. Blackpool then was hit by the Skonto curse. We all remember last season where Skonto thrashed Blackpool 4-1 and Evatt being sent off well the exact same happened again. The score line being 4-0 to Skonto and Blackpool having Mcphee sent off which the ref is considering weather or not to include it in his match report to the FA. Blackpool now looks forward to games against Wrexham on Saturday, St Mirren on 29th and Tranmere on the 2nd.

Lets All Maybe Go To Ireland
Blackpool proposed tour of Ireland is in tatters as Hull City have pulled out of  the tournament that was set to feature Blackpool and two other Irish sides. The race is now on to find a new side to enter the tournament which a number of Pool fans have already arranged the trip to go see.

Another Twist In Gorkss Saga
The ongoing battle against Karl and QPR has hit an interesting twist this week when QPR offered Daniel Nardiello and £250,000 as part of the deal. Oyston who has already said he doesn’t want Gorkss to go to the richest club in the world has reported QPR twice to the FA for “Illegally Tapping up” a player. However now Norwich has enter the battle who already have former Blackpool magician Wes Hoolahan have said they would want Gorkss to solve the problem of Centre Back which they have only Shackell, subject to a £1,000,000 offered from Wolves and Gary Doherty in that position. Gorkss has been ordered back into training but has already made up his mind to leave for a p[possible £15,000 a week deal from QPR.

South Stand Hidden Secrets
Blackpool will have to fork out extra costs to improve roads when the South Stand is built. The local authority have discussed with the club that once the capacity exceeded 12,000 then extra roundabouts and signals must be installed to ease traffic on match day and Blackpool must help foot the bill and must be done by the time the stand opens. This means that the plan for the 16000 seater stadium, which is already costing above 3million, will now cost a bit extra to build, something believed to be a six figure sum.
