Former Blackpool defender Micheal Jackson has found a new club. He signed a deal with Shrewsbury Town last week although some fans are still asking why we allowed him to leave.
Paul Dickov is another blast from the not so distant past. He's currently "Mulling over" Blackpool's contract offer, and has promised to let Larry know whats happening as soon as he decides. But with big money offers from the MLS, Blackpool could struggle to secure the players signing.
The QPR/Blackpool row continues to go on. Blackpool believe QPR have made an illegal approach for the player. The matter is still in the hands of The FA and should the player stay on the Seasiders books. Then Norwich City may make an approach for the player.
Blackpool have been linked to Alex John-Baptiste of Mansfield Town this weekend. The move, expected to be worth £75,000 if completed, would take place amity a fire of controversy. Numerous leaked emails have caused upset with the players agent believing there trying to offload the player on "the cheap".
The report from the chad also suggests that even under new ownership at Mansfield Town. The player would still be offloaded as a conference side just can't afford to pay the defenders wages. One things for sure, everything Blackpool appears to be involved in turns into a mess pretty quickly.
Ticket prices for the St Mirren game have also been released this week. The friendly, which is to take place on Tuesday 29th July at Bloomfield Road, will cost a tenner for an adult, fiver for the oldies and £3 for a kid.
Finally as the happy bus comes to an end, we leave you with the news that Blackpool could be about to "disco". Because the Seasiders are said to be chasing Martin Devaney from Barnsley. The midfielder is the victim of a release clause and Blackpool maybe about to splash the £150,000 needed to bring him to the Seaside. As always watch this space, in the meantime check out the forum!
