Sergio to Sign?

Rumours!
By Rocky64 June 7 2008
Rumours! Rumours! Rumours! No not that place in town where grease proof shoes are needed and anyone with a strong sense of smell isn't welcome. But instead what seems to be surrounding Blackpool FC 24/7. The latest rumour we've heard is that Blackpool have had an offer accepted for Blackburn's Sergio Peter.

Currently a Blackburn player, Sergio is a product of Waldhof Mannheim and has had a loan spell with Cercle Brugge. Aged 21 he's already tasted first team football, playing 17 times for Blackburn however that is over a period of four years.

However during his first team debut, an FA Cup third round clash against QPR, Sergio created all three goals which saw his team to the win. Peter can play at central midfield but is predominantly a left winger. An ideal replacement for Wes? Maybe but at this time it's just speculation. But as always we'll have the latest as we get it!

Sounds a good player, quite experienced for a reserve.

Seems larry has a list of replacements for wes and this guy's on it.

Looks like a potential good signing.

If we sign this bloke I will be so happy that I might lose my mind. I have been to some Blackburn games with a friend of mine and all Rovers fans are angry that Hughes would insist with Morten Gamst Pedersen, and they wanted Peter to get his chance. He has played a couple of times when I have been, albeit in cup competitions, but they were against good quality opposition eg Chelsea. Peter would not only be a replacement, but an improvemnt on Hoolahan. Hoolahan never had anything to prove last season, but Peter would do, and he would show desire. Not only this, but he will be ruthless and efficient, as he is German.

I hope this will be one of the rumours that will go in our favour.
