TRANSFER LATEST:Pool in for Paul?

Wotton Earth? :)
By Rocky64 June 3 2008
Well it's not even dinner time yet but there is still even more rumours flying about! Transfer gossip coming out as the silly season continues. Today the Daily Star and the Blackpool Gazette are both reporting that the Seasiders are chasing released former Plymouth man Paul Wotton.

The 30 Year old was released at the back end of last season, after serving at Home Parke for 21 years. Joining the club as a youngster of eight year old. He also served as club captain whilst with Plymouth but following his release he's now in search of a new club.

Wotton told the press  "I'm 30 years old and I've got a lot of football left in me – I'm also excited by a fresh challenge. I'll be working at another club, wearing a different kit, and these are things that I've got to be excited about."

Wotton can operate as both a midfielder and an attacker and has scored 53 goals in 387 career appearances for Plymouth. Leiecester City were also said to be interested at one stage, but now that Ian Holloway has been axed it seems unlikely he'll be playing at the Walkers Stadium next season.
