Hoolahan
Sheffield United: Well for a party boy like Wes; Sheffield has a number of nightclubs that might draw his interest. On the pitch, he'll be playing in front of crowds of upto 32,000 and a realistic push for the premiership in the coming years.
Getting in the team might need a bit of a push, but with the last couple of United managers been interested in the player, It wouldn't suprise to see him in a red shirt. Location wise he may seek a move away from his current home, to make life with The Blades easier. If he did move he would be sacrificing on the door step flights to Ireland which may put him off.
Move Rating: ***1/2 First team opurtunities aren't garunteed but playing in front of nearly 32,000 will turn him on especially as playing for United would boost his international prospects.
Norwich City: Well Roeder has spoke of his admiration of the player and there supporters certainly like him. But he would have to move away from his current home and he has big boots to fill if he did move. City want a replacement for legend Huckerby and it means immediate pressure for the midfielder.
Norwich are in and around the promotion battle most years and occasionally grace the premier league. Something which would attract a success driven player like Wes. However this season they've been in a similar position to Blackpool which may put him off, but if there is investment this summer, things will probably change.
Move Rating: **** Our likely destination if he moves, Roeder is a massive fan and his first team opurtunities are higher at Carrow Road then they are at other clubs linked to him.
Wolves: Well Mick Macharty see's Wes as a key player for Blackpool and has also spoke of his admiration. But he failed to make a move for the player given the chance in January so perhaps his interest has wained. Wolves would be able to afford his wages and his fee but his first time prospects are slimer then those at Norwich.
Move Rating: *** We ain't ruling it our but it's a big move away from home for Wes and Wolves interest may have disolved.
Staying at the seaside? Well he's settled here and has a huge fan base, he's starting to break into the first team of his international team and is one of the "big fish" in the Blackpool pond.
However he will want sucess, and if investment isn't made in the summer, to bring in players of a similar calibre, to achieve the success that he will seek, then I can see Wes moving. Although I reakon he will move in January rather then the summer.
Retaining Rating **** Only to January though in my opinion, I don't think he'll sign a new deal and will leave end up leaving us. But I think he'll show Larry some loyalty at least for the time being.
