With the season at an end for Football League clubs and nearing its close for the Premiership. We decided it was time to get some feedback off football fans up and down the country on the train services so many of us use to get us to away games. So in the words of Delia Smith "let's be 'avin you" because we want your opinions which we will be sending the train companies.


Ok this is how it works, below is a series of questions and awnsers to select, to cast your view all you need to do is awnser the questions as a comment below. Piece of pi**!

Anyway Let's get this survey on the road!

1) Have you used a train to attend a football match match this season?

2) What Train Operators did you use?

Simpler, I think so anyway. And coaches are also slower.


7) Would you support a discount card scheme for football fans. Where by you pay so much to receieve exammount of discount on match day travel?


Yes

8) If Yes How much would you be willing to pay?


Something around about £25 a yr for example, or say 1/3 off full fares- on match days.



9) Would you like to see train companies work better with clubs to put on more "Soccer Specials"?


Yes


10) Would you like to see football supporters only carriages on non soccer specials?


Yes


11) Do you think football fans are treated differently on trains to others?


Yes


12) Do you think alcohol is acceptable on a train?


Yes, but not in excess


13) Do you think there should be a special section for those who wish to drink?


Yes -(Though this isnt feasible at all!)


14) Would you like train companies to run coaches or shuttle busses to the station from the ground?


Yes -Depends on how far away the ground is though.


15) Would you be willing to pay for this?

Yes -(depends on how much though!)


16) Do you think weekend timetables should be more in tune to football kick off times and fixtures?

Yes

17) Would you like to see an improved police presence on trains carrying football fans?

No. (A bit more CCTV. MAYBE)


18) Finally, How do you think train services can improve to help football fans?

Run 'Football Special', 'Footex' trains for big matches. As British Rail supposedly used to until the 1980s and for lesser matches, the train company should put on extra units.

upto £30 for 1/3 off on match days seems fair

Reduce the prices mainly then i would definetly consider travelling by train than coach as it is more comfy.
