THE try
After leading the table for all bhut one week of the regular season, the least Glaws deserve is a home tie in the semis, and that's what they've got. Tigers have come up on the rails to qualify at the end of what for them has been a disappointing season ... so far.
Glaws will be aiming to make sure it stays that way.
After a tense, ervous 8-6 win over Bath at Kingsholm, Glaws coach Dean Ryan said: "There is no special recipe for success.
"We have got to work hard during the week. Wasps play a certain way and Bath have a pretty unique style.
"We will need to look at how Leicester have played the last few games, looking at their strengths and weaknesses."
Dean, we know what you mean - but we reckon there is a recipe for success - players who can finish like James Simpson-Daniel did for the game's only try, players who can cover and tackle like several did when Bath appeared to be on the way to tries themselves (AA's above isn't a bad example), and a teamwork ethic that has got better in the closing stages of a season that started well, but had a few hiccups along the way.
Well, they made it in the end and now they are 80 minutes away from another visit to Twickenham, where the players and Ryan will be hoping to make amends for last season's failure.
First, though, there's time to diggest what was an epic match - and an epic performance - at Kingsholm and to recover from the knocks, and then it's time to get revenge on the Tigers - never as easy as it sounds.
