Boro's Julian set for Gills?
By Jack Nolan May 9 2008
Gillingham manager Mark Stimson looks set to make another signing from previous club Stevenage Borough in goalkeeper Alan Julian as number two to Simon Royce. Stimson has already made four signings from his old club since being appointed Gillingham manager last November, and is now poised to make his fifth.

Stimson released injury prone goalkeeper Kelvin Jack earlier this week, and Derek Stillie retired from the professional game. The two departures mean The Gills are left with Simon Royce and youngster Dean Kiely, and a goalkeeper is one of The Gills boss' top transfer targets this summer.

Hertfordshire paper 'The Comet' reports that the Stevenage 'keeper was placed on the transfer list for not signing a new contract offer by former Gillingham manager Peter Taylor, and the twenty-five-year-old made forty-four appearances for Stevenage Borough last season.
