All-Ireland Hurling Final - Not So Threesy
By Paddy Power September 6 2008
Six titles in ten years, the first hurling team to ever win three in-a-row`(properly), possibly one of the greatest hurling teams ever being led by one of the best managers ever....hell, they haven't even conceded a single goal on their run to the final. So with their name already engraved on the black and amber ribboned trophy the Cats need only to get to Croke Park safely, hand Waterford a 70 minute lesson in hurling and head off back to Kilkenny grinning from ear to ear, prompting people to rename them the Cheshire Cats. Except of course that these inevitable moments in sport have a tendency of going very badly wrong. Look what happened back in 2004 against Cork and against a talented and much improved Waterford team there is every chance they'll end up with the Cats' cream. Sun 3.30pm
