The leaders beat struggling Charlton 2-0 at Old Trafford, while Chelsea won 3-0 at home to Middlesbrough.

And with games running out for the Blues, bet365 saw fit to chop United into 1/4 from 2/7 while easing Chelsea to 11/4 from 5/2.

Third-placed Liverpool are out to 150/1 after they were beaten 2-1 at Newcastle.

At the other end of the table it's looking increasingly bleak for West Ham.

The Hammers were sunk 1-0 by fellow strugglers Watford at Upton Park.

Darius Henderson's 12th-minute penalty found the net after he was fouled by Anton Ferdinand but Marlon Harewood couldn't repeat the trick when West Ham were awarded a spot kick of their own, blazing wide of Ben Foster's left-hand post.

The Hammers are now 2/5 for the drop with bet365 who have eased Watford to 1/14. Charlton are the other odds-on side at 1/6.
