Jewell was furious after Wigan were denied a penalty when leading 1-0, a game they went on to lose 2-1 at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.

When are the FA ever going to leave Paul alone. This is the first time that Jewell has stepped out of line and he is now being hammered for it. Almost everybody who saw the game in the country - even some of the gooners agreed Mr Dowd's actions were totally abysmal.
