Active forum contributor CRX has done it again and stepped forward this weekend to provide coverage of the qualifying sessions in Monaco. Again my thanks to him for a top effort, and commiserations to the team for just missing out on the top 16.

Oh well, it wasn't good enough, but it was close. Had Albers been 0.275 faster and we would have made it into the second round of qualifying. TM also had a complaint about Barrichello, according to the sources of RTP (the Portuguese TV), he claims he lost around 0.7 seconds behind the Brazilian during a fast lap. Needless it is to say that in the forum people got a bit disappointed by this and by some moves made by the team, when they brought both cars back into the pits when there were still 2.30 minutes left to go.

One thing is for sure MF1 was never so close (this season so far) to join the 16 best on the 2nd session. We should be able to get closer to the teams ahead of us this Sunday.

In a race where red flags are inevitable we can have something to say.

With the right strategy and a bit of luck, we might just do it and go for the best result of the season.
