Ok, so there weren't any points scored this weekend, but I don't think that it will have been anywhere near the teams mind. What the team were hoping for, they got.
Reliability was yesterdays buzz word and today, reliability was the name of the game for Midland. Christijan brought the car home in 12th place, Tiago was in 13th, again completing another race - that's 20 out of 21 starts.
Tiago has been suffering all weekend with a back problem and I would suggest that this counts towards his pace in today's race, however Christijan's pace seemed to have been affected by the battle with Liuzzi in the restricted V10 Torro Rosso, having fought him for most of the race.
A much better weekend for the team than their debut in Bahrain. The cars and engines working well. The team have a suspension upgrade for the car when it gets back to Europe, and now the team now prepare for the Australian Grand Prix in two weeks time.
Team Quotes will appear as soon as available.
