Paul Ricard Test - Day 1
By Andrew Richardson May 14 2008
Toro Rosso kick off 3 day test in France

All remaining 10 teams are attending this 3-day test at the Paul Ricard High Tech Test Track. Each team is allowed to use one car per day but can switch drivers when they want too.

Todays layout was the 3.593km 2D SC and was used to evaluate set-ups for the forthcoming Monaco Grand Prix.

Sebastian Vettel was sat behind the wheel of the new STR3 for the very first time. The 2008 challenger is set to race for the very first time at the Monaco GP after a troubled test session in Spain. The car has the Red Bull Racing "fin" engine cover which has now spread to Renault and Williams.

Vettel stopped on track at one point and caused a red flag, the problem is so far unknown.
