I'm back from Monza...and bringing some good stuff
By JAime M. September 13 2006
Just returned yesterday night after visiting Milan, and enjoyed another great race for both the F1 fans and BMW. What a great GP, full of controversial desicions, and whats more, the last race of Michael Schumacher in both Italy and Europe. This will be a fact to remember.
Monza, the temple of speed, was a promising place to go...and that expectations came true!

Probably the atmosphere there was the best of all the races in the calendar, with the Tifosis (and also lots of Alonso fans) breaking the spectators record there. And they got rewarded with a trepidating race that might decide the future champion of the WDC, after Alonso was (unfarily) penalaised to loose five spots, and then blew up its engine. So just 2 points margin now!

But lets talk about the BMW Sauber Team, which collected another great result, after both quali and race run almost perfectly. Nick's 3rd position in quali was great, but Kubica's podium in his 3rd race was even more impressive. Just a pity that Nick had a hard race, but nevertheless collected a point. So the team should be very satisfied and keep pushing like the have lately doing.

If the were satisfied, imagine me! I was jumping so much when Kubica crossed the finsih line... and after stop his car in front of my granstand!
And the track invasion for the podium ceremonial was incredible, so exciting...

THe full report will be coming soon, with loads of photos and videos
