Reserves Travel To Newcastle
By Mark Heys April 24 2006
Bolton Wanderers reserves are back in action this evening as they take on their Newcastle United counterparts at Kingston Park....
Two out of the last three reserve keague games have ended in victory for the Wanderers but a 4-1 defeat away at Birmingham City last week halted their recent revival.

Newcastle's second string are unbeaten on home soil this term having recorded nine wins and three draws in the twelve games played at Kingston Park so any sort of result for Bolton in tonight's game is sure to be hard earned.

In January a Johann Smith double and a further goal from Bradley Hill sent the Wanderers on their way to a 3-0 win and their first three points at the County Ground in 2005-2006.

Matt Jansen, Henrik Pedersen, Joey O'Brien and Ali Al-Habsi are just some of the Bolton players on show with a fair degree of first team experience. In the case of Irish international O'Brien it marks a return to competitive action following a recent spell on the sidelines with a thigh strain.
