Reserves Travel To The Midlands

Bolton reserves are on the road for the second week in succession this evening as they take on Aston Villa at the Bescot Stadium..
The second string have lost just once since the turn of the New Year and could move off the bottom of the FA Premier Reserve league if they defeat the third placed Villans.

Veteran midfielder Gary Speed returns to competitive action for the trip to the Midlands after spending the last six weeks out of contention with a troublesome knee injury.

Oman international Ali Al-Habsi also comes back into the starting line up after missing the goalless draw with Liverpool last week whilst Oscar Perez gets his second start for Jimmy Phillips' side.

Villa reserve boss Kevin MacDonald includes first team players Stuart Taylor, Ulises De La Cruz and Gary Cahill in his line up.
