Ashley Timms - in court
Ashley Timms, 22, is charged with making an unwarranted demand for money with menaces towards the fellow player over the last few weeks and he will face further trial at Manchester Crown Court on 18th April after being granted bail.
Timms joined Bolton's reserve ranks for the start of the 2003-2004 season after being released by local rivals Manchester City and spells with Oldham Athletic, Macclesfield Town, Norwich City, Shrewsbury Town, Accrington Stanley and Runcorn have since followed.
The courts have made an order to keep the Premier League player's identity a secret and it seems that Timms, who's last club was Cambridge City, will now be kicked out of football.
