Bolton Battle Celtic For County Kid
By Mark Heys March 22 2007
Ross County youngster Graham Girvan has been invited back to Bolton Wanderers for a second week of trials but the Trotters could face competition from Celtic in their bid to land the 16-year old.
Girvan will go to Parkhead this week hoping to earn a contract with his homecity club but the Wanderers aren't out of the chase to land the teenage right back just yet.

County's director of football George Adams confirmed that Girvan is of interest to Bolton and stated that the club are hoping to see the player in a behind close doors game.

"Everyone at Bolton was very impressed by Graham and they are keen to get a game arranged for him and take him back down for that." said Adams to the North Scotland press.

If Girvan makes the switch to the Reebok Stadium then he will follow in the footsteps of Gary Mackay-Steven who recently moved south of the border to link up with the Trotters Premiership rivals Liverpool.
