Who will get relegated!?
By Chris April 25 2006
Thank god for Chester's revival! Torquay's 4-0 victory over Stockport this evening throws the L2 relegation scrap wide open.
Chester City have been made safe in the last week...albeit it not quite mathematically - Chester are 6 points above second-from-bottom Torquay with just two more games to be played. But the relegation scrap between the clubs below them has become a real chaotic scene.

Rushden and Diamonds face an uphill task, as they are 3 points adrift in bottom place, but any team of Torquay, Oxford, Stockport, Barnet, Macclesfield, Notts County or Bury could be in the relegation zone by Saturday night. The league is so close at the bottom of the table, that three points seperate all these teams. Rochdale, who have a game in hand, and Mansfield (and Chester) are also within the wrath of the relegation zone.

So it will be a critical weekend in the league as it begins to filter out. Chester, meanwhile, should be happy with another draw against a Northampton side who will gain promotion if they win...and its in their own backyard.

...good luck!
