Chester draw away tie
By Chris Thompson December 4 2005

Chester have been drawn against two of their L2 counterparts in the draw for the 3rd round the FA Cup. The number 64 ball was drawn just two balls out of a draw with Chelsea, but in the end had to settle with either Oxford United or Cheltenham Town for company in the next round.

Having disaptched non-league outfit Folkestone Invicta in Round 1, and with ease sent Nottingham Forest packing on Saturday, their reward is a tricky January visit visit to Cheltenham's Whaddon Road or Oxford's Kassam Stadium.

Those two drew 1-a-piece on Saturday at Cheltenham, with a replay forecast for Tuesday 13th December (19:45 KO) following what the BBC described as a 'thrilling' game.

The winner of that encounter will entertain Chester on the weekend of January 7/8th.
