Folkes - Trialist on board
By Chris Thompson November 17 2005
Chester have taken yoing Lincoln defender Peter Folkes on trial at the club
Birmingham-born Folkes has had his chances at Sincil Bank limited since turning down a contract offer from Bradford City, in favour of a switch to Lincoln.

Despite signing two a one-year deal in May, Folkes has been allowed to train with Chester until the end of the week, although Chester' assitant John Gannon admits it is 'too early' to consider a future move.

21-year-old Folkes, who has managed just 3 minutes of play all season, was part of a 4 man defence that leaked 3 goals in a reserves match last night.

In a side captained by Stephen Vaughan, Justin Walker scored a consolation for the Blue's second-string, as Rochdale ran out winners at the Saunder's Honda Stadium.
