Figo glad Novo is injured
By Mad Max-im September 28 2005
Inter star Luis Figo has admitted he is glad Rangers' Spanish striker Nacho Novo will miss his side's UEFA Champions League game.
"Of Rangers' individual players I particularly rate Nacho Novo from watching him on television," Figo told the Daily Record.

"He looks a very good player so I think we are lucky that he isn't fit to play in this game. Having watched Rangers beat Porto in their last Champions League match I know they will be hard rivals to us in this match.

"In fact, I believe we need to be very disciplined if we want to take all three points.

"I believe the key to an Inter victory will be getting an equal balance between defence and attack, keeping hold of the ball and, of course, scoring goals when the opportunities come our way. If we do that then I'm sure we will be okay.

"My most recent contact with a Scottish team was last year when Portugal faced their national team in Braga. We beat the Scots 2-0. It wasn't easy and it won't be easy against Rangers either.

"I think Rangers' biggest strength is that they are a physically powerful team." Said the Former "Galactico"
