Rangers beat former Euro Champions
By ManchesterUnited September 15 2005
Rangers beat Porto in match day one of the champions league and even though this tyiping guy has nothing to do with this match, he is still better than anyone Manchester Buccaneers have got.
Porto jumped out of the blocks in the opening half hour and barely gave Rangers a touch until Løvenkrands scored an unlikely goal, on to the second half and Pepe equalised two minutes after the re-start with a header, nothing much else happened until Prso scored the go ahead goal after 59 minutes after Prso had practically fouled the keeper but the goal was given and then Pepe made the score 2-2 after a Peixoto corner to set up a frantic last quarter of an hour and after 80 minutes Sokoto got an injury for Porto and after three subs Porto were down to ten men and Kyrgiakos scored the fifth and final goal of a match that for the most part Porto had dominated (But keep that a secret from Jazza) and the final result was 3-2 on Rangers favour... Its off to the San Siro for Rangers in an empty stadium to play Inter Milan.
