| Walsall Boss Kevan Broadhurst is refusing to take chances with his injured players. Speaking in this evenings Express and Star, Broadhurst is adamant that the likes of Madds Timm, Chris Westwood and Danny Fox will not be thrown in if they're not right. His keenness to make the decisions for them shows good long term vision from the new man. Rushing then back and then losing them again would only hurt our chances in the long run. |

The Saddlers youth team will play Grimsby Town in the final of the Midlands Youth Cup. Just where The Mariners fit in to the Midlands part of the equation is sure to baffle most fans! The Saddlers youngsters over came Hednesford Town in last nights Semi Final. The game ended 3-0 with Mark Bradley and Emanuel Smith (2) grabbing the goals. We'll publish the details of the final when we know them. |

| It's bad news for pacy front man Alex Nicholls. He broke his leg in last nights Youth Team game against Hednesford Town. Nicholls won't be seen in Walsall colours again until the start of next season. |

| Lee Vaughan has been allowed to leave the Club. The former Blues full back has never looked like breaking in to the first team having spent more than his fair share of time out on loan with lower league clubs. Vaughan is now expected to join AFC Telford. |
