Ex England Skipper interested.
By WS10 February 14 2006
Former England hero David Platt is reported to have been an undercover spectator at Saturdays game with Scunthorpe.

The Express and Star broke the story, and Platt becomes the latest "big name" to have shown an interest.

His spell at Forest may go against him. Despite having money to spend and good young players at his disposal, Platt failed to win over the Forest Faithful.

He also had a brief spell with Sampdoria. The highlights from that Spell were the signing of Lee Sharpe and uproar over him not having the right kind of Qualification.

He is highly thought of as a coach. Since leaving his post as Manager of the England U21s, Platt has spent time working as a pundit and looking for a route back in to the game.
