So Per, which part of Sweden are you from?
I'm from Sveg, Härjedalen, Sweden. Pretty exactly in the middle of Sweden. about 2 hours travel southwest from ostersund, 5-6 hours north from Stockholm.

Can you speak Swedish?
Yes.

What about Norwegian and Finnish?
Norwegian.. 2 on a 5 scale... finnish -100 on a 1-5 scale.

Okay then, Do you know Ulrika Johnson?
No,

Why not?
She's a bit old for me

What about Sven?
No, but Tord Grip is born about 30 min travel from my town.

Would you say Sven is your stereotypical older Swedish Man?
Well, he probably is the stereotypical for a man from the part of Sweden which he comes from.

If he lived next door, would you be worried that he'd try and chat your missus up?
Not worried at all...

So how long have you been a Saddler? 
Since 1995, but more active since 1997.

What possibly encouraged you to follow Walsall?
A computer game called Championship Manager I played in the beginning of the 1990's

Have you ever managed to attend a game? 
Never been to a match but I've seen a couple on video that was sent to me. And Swedish television had Walsall - West Ham in the FA Cup during the Graydon era.

Since you started to follow the club in the mid 1990s, is there any one game you wish you could have attended? 
Yes, I would love to be at every match.

Do you know any other Saddlers?
I know about one other Swedish Saddler fan but I haven't been in contact with him for a couple of years. I have a couple of friends over in England but never spoken to them in any other way then via Internet.

Ever tried to make any fellow Swedes follow the Saddlers?
Nope Walsall who? his the most common answer when I talk to someone in Sweden

Do you follow a Swedish Team?
Yes, I follow IFK Gothenborg.

Any good? Do you watch them?
One of the best in Sweden, Never watched them live.

Ever met a Swedish Dingle? 
Yes 

 

What did you think? What are they like? 
The Swedish Wolves are very nice. They respect me as a Walsall fan and I respect them. Never been any hard words between us

Do you own any memorabilia, what's your most prized possession
My Walsall FC shirts. My Coffee cup that I've at Work.

What's it like living in Sweden? What's the best thing.
The best thing with living in Sweden is the calmness, and that it is friendly and secure.

Does everyone drive a Volvo?
My first car was a Volvo 240 from 1975 which my grandfather gave to me when I got my driver license. Then I bought a Volvo 850 GLT but now I own a Audi A4 Quattro. But overall many own or have owned a Volvo

And all the women are blonde right? Do they figure highly in your life?
I've had a blonde girlfriend, but not many of my relatives are blonde.

Do you own any Abba CDs? Are they really cheap there? 
Won't ever in my life buy a ABBA cd

Moving back to the football .... Who is your favourite Saddler of all time.
Well. as I haven't seen them play live I can only go for what others have told me... I like players who give their right foot to win a match.. Rammell, Leitao, Viveash to name a few.

If you could recommend one player in the Swedish League at the moment for the Saddlers to sign who would it be and why
Don't know if we would have the money but George Mourad in IFK Gothenburg would be a good addition. He's a big, strong player. Pretty much all around he is a cult hero like Rammell. 

I wonder if George Mourad owns a Volvo...
I don't think so, but if he does I hope its not a brown volvo 240 because they are really ugly

Planning on catching a game any time soon.......
When I get some money to spend on a trip over to Walsall I will pop up to the Bescot...
