trial in the Summer of 2004 and impressed during the Villa and Man United
freindlies.}

midfield we gave him a contract and then waited for him to re-produce his
pre-season form. We waited, and waited - and then gave up towards the end of
the season.}

he deserved to stake a claim for a regular starting place.}

the season came in the 3-2 win against Swindon Town. A game which turned

hill after Christmas as injuries hampered his progress and saw him out of the
first team picture.}
