One of the key deadline day signings that helped us climb to mid-table mediocrity in 2004-2005. His initial loan spell saw him play at both right back and central midfield. He added some much needed defensive stability when he finally settled in a right back.

 

His ability to play more than one position makes him a valuable squad member. His tidy, steady and well measured style of play makes him the perfect full back. He's no Zigor or Wright when it comes to bursting forward, but he delivers a mean long throw in which makes him a serious threat in the final 3rd.
