A dismal Walsall performance lacking
creativity and craft ended in a 2-0 defeat at the hands to
struggling Rotherham. Rotherham had the best of the games
chances with Warne going close just after kick off. The closest
Walsall came all half was when Steve Corica's cross was intercepted
by a Rotherham defender as Darren Wrack lurked at the far
post.
Our first real effort on goal came
from Vinny Samways, who's speculative effort went wide of the
Rotherham goal. Rotherham got the breakthrough in the second half
when Chris Swailes latched on to a McIntosh Header to put the
Millers in the lead.
Rotherham got their second when
former Saddler Martin Butler got on the end of a Mullin cross to put
the Millers two goals up. Sedgwick could have made it 3-0 with
minutes left, but he could only find the woodwork.

Megadeath - Well done lads for a totally shockingly
inept display of "foorball", perhaps we should have stuck
the reserves out on the pitch instead!! |
Ian Hemmings - think by going with the formation
that lee did yesterday shows the lack of confidence he has in both
bazley and wright |
Stu - Shame that whoever was meant to be marking
Chris Swailes forget to follow his run on the 1st goal mind you.
Unmarked 8 yards out, and they call themselves professional defenders?
They're having a larf...
